Major mission goals of a Family Council include: (1) developing personal self-reliance, (2) love God and attitude of service to all mankind.   and (3) with a supporting  foundation of  extended family - living and dead.

The Standard agenda provides a forum to watch the development of these life skills and character traits. Ideally family members should be working on development in all areas of their personal life each day with the support of the family.  Note: We tried to emphasis one ideal in each of the three areas each week.

​A primary goal of families is to develop individual that are self-reliant. The six topics outlined include Education, Health,Employment, Home Storage, Finances & Resources Management,
​   and Spiritual Strength.
These areas help individual members of the family in their personal growth and perfection.

Sharing the attributes of Jesus  Christ in community service develops love of God and mankind.  Sharing Christ ideals for living and His commandments with friends and family helps them to have greater joy. This requires planning, calendaring and resources to support family members as they develop a relationship with God and in their  heart felt service to others.

Family Ties & History

Family members with inter-generational ties have a strong foundation to build upon to meet life challenges. This task can include: recording personal life experience in documents and, media etc., maintaining ties with living family members and gathering and sharing family histories of the living and dead among the family.
