Mission Statements General: Family Mission statements should be well thought out for that reason they may take some time in several Family Council meeting to develop. Or you may devote an entire Family Council or Family Home Evening to developing the statement. It is well to let the statement sit for a week and then re-look at it again. We suggest that you frame it and put it in a prominent place where all family members can see it daily. Hint: The family mission statement should support God's mission statement found in P of GP Moses 1: 39. This is my work and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. The two mission statement below were developed and revised over the course of thirty years of council meetings to insure that all members of the family had bought in the mission statement. |
